Alex He is the chef in our family (kills in broccoli quesadilla And the Chicken Parm Meatballs), but last week, he was out of town, so the boys and I were alone. Unfortunately, I am – how would I describe it – not a great cook. So, I thought we’d just shop in the fridge:

Monday: Rice and beans with toppings, including avocado, tomato, cheddar cheese, and sour cream
Tuesday: pesto pasta (using Excellent pesto in store) with sauteed zucchini
Wednesday: Sausage with corn and tomato
Thursday: Mushroom and egg toast. (Fry a handful of mushrooms with salt and pepper. Boil four eggs. Toast four slices of country bread and top with mushrooms, eggs and grated Parmesan cheese.)
Friday: pizza delivery from us Favorite neighborhood place!
