This week we head to Texas for… AT & T Byron Nelsonwhich takes place at TPC Craig Ranch.
The Tom Weiskopf-designed par-71 course is approximately 7,400 yards with Pentegrass greens. The course has large putting greens, so getting close to putting and putting will be the keys to success. Simply put, expect some low scores.
KH Lee, who will go on to win three peats, is among the favorites this week. with the PGA Championship The following weekend, many of the big names on the PGA Tour are sitting out. But a star Scotty Scheffler ready to compete, and is the frontrunner in this event, -350 at FOX Bet.
Now that we’ve got the basics out of the way, let’s tackle the favorites and my live feed for this tournament with cross odds FOX Pete.
Scotty Scheffler +300 (Bet $10 to win a total of $40)
Terrell Hatton +1300 (Bet $10 to win a total of $140)

“Gimme”
KH Lee Top 10 (+250 at FOX Bet)
I’m not thinking about it here. Lee was so dominant on this course that they called him “TPC Lee”. He also makes a nice T-8 finish at the Wells Fargo Championship. With the extra money, this is a bet worth betting.
“Play the course, not your opponent”
Tom Kim (+1,600 on FOX Bet)
Kim hasn’t posted in the top 10 since January in American Express, but he showed signs of life last weekend at the Wells Fargo tournament with a top 25 finish. Kim has only missed one cut since January, and he’s a Dallas resident, so he’ll be comfortable on this track.
Other advantages
Terrell Hatton (+1,300 on FOX Bet)
Hatton’s skill set is built for this course, and he came into the event in fantastic shape, after finishing T-3 at the Wells Fargo Championships last week. He’s also been in the mix to win several custom events this year with much better fields – runner-up at The Players, T-4 at Arnold Palmer and T-6 at Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Matt Kuchar (+2800 at FOX Bet)
Kuchar played well on this track. He was on the hunt in 2021 and finished a T-17 and a T-12 on his two flights here. Kuchar also comes this week playing some impressive golf, with three straight top-25 finishes, including a T-3 at the Texas Open.
Seamus Strength (+4000 at FOX Bet)
Bauer finished 18th last week at the Wells Fargo Championships and has had success on this course, placing 9th and 17th in the past two years. He also lays well on this deck. Force is an easy choice for me in these circumstances.
Tom Hoge (+5000 at FOX Bet)
A solid iron game plus a hot racket is the perfect recipe for victory here, located right in Hoge’s wheelhouse. At that number, splashing some pizza money on it is a no-brainer.
Michael Kim (+5,500 at FOX Bet)
Kim made seven straight cuts, including two top-10 finishes in that round. He finished 7th last week at the Wells Fargo Championship and is now a Texas resident (home cooking). At this price, Kim’s is definitely worth splashing out on.
