2023 USFL Playoffs: Schedule, Match Photo


the USFL’s A return to action in 2022 brought an exciting chase, as eight teams battled to the finish line Birmingham Stallion They were crowned champions in the end.

This season, the games are better than ever, and even as we get past the middle of the regular season the postseason picture remains very murky – teams in each division are separated by just one game.

But we’ve got you covered the rest of the way. Here’s the updated picture for the 2023 USFL season, including the current standings, remaining schedule, and playoff seeding if the season were to end today. Keep in mind that the top two teams from each division will receive points in the semi-finals, with the winners of those matches meeting in the championship game.

South 1 vs. North 2: New Orleans vs New Jersey (New Orleans is the top seed due to wins over Houston and Birmingham. New Jersey is seeded due to wins over Pittsburgh and Michigan)


If, at the end of the 10-week regular season, two or more teams in the same division finish with identical won-lost records, the following tiebreaker is used to determine playoff berths:

  1. face to face
  2. The best win-loss percentage in matches played within the division
  3. Victory Power (the overall percentage lost by the defeated team)
  4. Best net score in all games
  5. The best tactile network in all games
  6. toss a coin
