After conducting a poll on Saturday with his followers, Elon Musk restored the account of former US President Donald Trump. President Trump has been banned from using the social media platform, following the insurrection and attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Following the reinstatement, Sarah Rosen, Twitter’s US head of content partnerships, announced her departure from the company. Rosen’s departure coincided with the exit of several prominent figures at Twitter, who were responsible for some of the key policies deployed to operate Twitter.
