Antonio Conte reveals his fears that he ‘failed’ as Tottenham manager


Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has admitted that he sometimes thinks he is a failure at the club.

“During your career, failure is part of the job. The most important thing is to work hard to try to avoid failure. Sometimes failure pushes you to become stronger and make yourself better.

“For great coaches, the expectation is to lift the trophy: it’s the same for me here, and if we don’t lift the trophy, the first responsibility lies with the coach. I know my expectations are really high.”

Conte’s contract with Tottenham expires at the end of the season, and although the club has the option to extend his stay by another 12 months, 90 minutes He understands that Conte is due to leave in the summer.
