The 2023 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) takes place from June 5 to June 9. This personal event is geared towards developers, though it often doubles as a showcase for upcoming Apple hardware and software. A keynote from the event will be broadcast on June 5th at an undisclosed time.

We believe Apple will be showcasing several software updates during WWDC 2023, as it usually does. These updates should cover the full scope of the Apple ecosystem — iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS 14, tvOS 17. (These updates won’t roll out until the end of the year, most likely in September. Apple is offering its program closed early to prepare developers for new features, security changes, etc.)

But, as always, there are a lot of rumors and speculations swirling around. The most famous rumor is that Apple will launch a Mixed reality headset During the keynote on June 5th. While WWDC would be a fitting place to launch such a headset (developers need to get ready for the new platform), there’s no evidence to really support this rumor, so it’s best to wait and see what happens.

We can also see a file Apple Silicon Mac Pro and a 15-inch MacBook Air at the event. Hardware isn’t always a guarantee at WWDC, but we were late with the Mac Pro release, so this rumor isn’t too outlandish.

Again, WWDC 2023 will run from June 5th to June 9th. It’s mainly a personal event, though anything that might interest Apple customers will be shared on the company’s website. In addition, Apple will launch WWDC with a keynote, which will be broadcast live on the Internet and should serve as an introduction to Apple’s upcoming software (and possibly hardware).
