Are you running out of storage space on your Apple Watch? Here’s how to clear some rooms.

Depending on your watch and how much content you’re downloading or syncing, you could easily be running low on space before you know it. But your watch can tell you how much space you have. It can also show you how much space certain apps and content are using so you know what to get rid of when you get close to empty.

Check storage space

Check the available storage on your watch from the Watch app on your phone. go to my watch> general > about in the application. Wait a few seconds and the app will display the total number of songs, photos, and external apps on the device. It also shows the total capacity and the available amount of space.

To check the capacity directly on your Apple Watch, go to Settings > General > Storage. The Storage section shows how much space is available and how much space is being used. Swipe down to see how much space each app takes up and the type of content, including music, podcasts, and photos.

Now that you know what content is taking up the most space, you can remove items you no longer want. First, let’s take a look at deleting apps using the Watch app on your phone. Open the app and swipe down on the My Watch screen until you reach File Installed on Apple Watch to divide.

Click on the name of the app you want to remove, then turn off View the app on your Apple Watch Toggle on, and the app will be deleted from the watch. Go back to the previous screen, and the app will now appear in Available applications where you can always reinstall it on your watch by tapping install button.

To remove an app directly from the watch, press the Digital Crown to see the home screen with all your apps. If the home screen is in grid view, gently tap on any icon until they all start to jiggle. Click on X on the app that you want to remove, then tap Delete the app. Press the Digital Crown to stop the icons from wiggling.

If the home screen is in list view, scroll through the list until you see the app you wish to delete. Drag the application entry to the left and tap the trash can icon. Click on Delete the app Log in to confirm.

You may also want to delete any files saved music(Opens in a new tab) from your Apple Watch. Do this by opening the Watch app on your iPhone. Scroll down to the My Watch section and tap music entrance.
