Arizona packing list: 7 of my favorite pieces

We’re going to Arizona this weekend for spring break with the kids! The only important thing on the agenda is to relax and enjoy the sun – something we all desperately crave.

I’ve been working on my Arizona packing list the entire week leading up to our trip. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces that I bring with me. The items below are just a few staples that I can easily mix and match throughout our journey. A packing piece versatile enough to be worn multiple times is always the way to go.

These are seven of the staples on my Arizona packing list.

1. Saffron Mel Dress (Gifted)

$238

This dress would work great over a swimsuit or with a hat and sport shoes. It’s also one that will allow me to indulge in mealtime as much as I want without having to worry about feeling bloated in my clothes. I will probably come This beautiful dress is Mel As an option too (pictured are some pictures below)!

2. H&M high-waisted shorts

$20

I prefer wide leg shorts these days because I find they look more flattering on my body. It’s also a versatile style that can be easily paired with tank tops, button-down shirts, and jackets. I recently ordered these pants and know they will be a great staple on this trip and beyond.

3. Crew jacket in Everlane organic cotton

$98

I’m packing a vintage blue turtleneck sweater for this trip. I love this similar option from Everlane, too. I’ll wear it over my sundress in the morning or with a white T-shirt underneath, tucked into my shorts.

4. Cezanne Tomboy shirt

$110

I’m packing a vintage white button-down shirt. Pictured here from Sézane is a very similar style. I will put this in Vintage Levi’s 501 jeans I will also wear it on my own swimwear!

5. Crow J metal ball earrings.

$24

These go with everything and make any outfit feel ‘done’ without much effort. I’ve been wearing them all the time lately!

6. H&M Jacquard-Weave bag

$35

I bought This H&M tote bag To carry all kinds of things that me or my kids might need while exploring. The bag I purchased is currently out of stock, but I love the bag pictured above too!

7. GH Bass Weejuns Whitney Handhold Loafers

$175

These shoes go with everything!! Joe gave them to me for Christmas and they are perfect. The pattern I own is currently available in limited sizes, however I like this option too.

A note on comfort: I found that they were uncomfortable for the first hour or two of wearing them and then molded to my feet in the best way.
