Lenovo Chromebook Duet is a 10-inch tablet with a detachable keyboard and touchpad. The small Lenovo Chromebook might be a bit limited in size as a basic Chrome OS device, although you can connect to an external display via its USB-C port. However, the Lenovo Duet is a good choice if you’re looking for an affordable Chromebook for pure mobility or as a secondary device that can be used in tablet mode. Its small size can be an issue, depending on what you’re looking at, but its portability and powerful Chrome OS make it worth considering. I wouldn’t necessarily call it the best Chromebook on the market, but for the cost and convenience, it’s unreliable very quickly. updated version, Chromebook Duet 3, came out in May. It features an 11-inch 2K touchscreen display, faster Qualcomm processors, an improved keyboard (still included), and, unfortunately, a higher starting price of $400.

The 13-inch Lenovo Chromebook 2-in-1 is a better bet than the Duet if you need a laptop for all-day use. It has a Full HD display plus excellent performance and battery life for the money, thanks to an Intel Core i3-10110U processor, 4GB of RAM and a 64GB solid state drive. The Lenovo Flex isn’t a great option for a Chromebook for outdoor use, as the screen is pretty dim.

If you’re looking for better performance, the Chrome OS tablet has been updated with an 11th generation Intel Core i3 processor but still has an impressive battery life of nearly 11 hours. called now Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebookit costs a little more Starting at $475. If you’d prefer a wider screen rather than a taller one like the Spin 713 (below), this HP Chromebook is the way to go. It’s about 0.75 inches wider than the deluxe 13.3-inch model, but that extra width makes it easy to work in two side-by-side windows. The dual-function design means you can use the HP Chromebook x360 as a tablet (although it’s a bit heavy to use as a handheld device). You can also put it in a tent, attach an external keyboard and mouse and use it as a mini All-in-One PC.

The Core i3 processor and 8GB of memory in our test model kept this HP Chromebook running smoothly even with a few dozen tabs open and video streaming in the background. Chrome OS will handle normal usage smoothly. This Chromebook laptop has a long-lasting battery, lasting 10 hours and 40 minutes in CNET testing. This is a higher configuration, and its usual price is $699. This laptop regularly sells for less than $500, but if you love the design and don’t need its more powerful components, the The Pentium Silver Edition is a bargain closer to $300.

Acer had one of the best Chromebooks available in 2021 with Spin 713And now that success is being repeated with the Chromebook Spin 714. The premium 2-in-1 isn’t far behind in what it delivers — a powerful design, great-looking screen, solid performance, and long battery life — but Acer has made a few changes to stay competitive, like including The USI stylus that stores and charges in the body of the 714. There are less expensive options, but if you want a Chromebook that will last for years, these are the options. Watch out for selling on this one: Its regular price is $729, but it can be Found regularly for $579. Read our Acer Chromebook Spin 714 review.

Acer’s Spin 513 is a qualitative update to one of the best Chromebooks of 2021, the Spin 713. It’s a convertible two-in-one Chromebook with a 13.5-inch screen and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The extra vertical space means less scrolling as you work. The screen size is also close to that of letter-sized paper, which makes it convenient to take notes in tablet mode with a file USI pen. Compared to the 713, it drops some non-critical features like HDMI output in favor of a reasonable price tag. It has amazing battery life, and a powerful fanless design, which makes it silent – ideal for quiet classrooms, lectures or video calls. Also, be sure to get the latest version of the Spin 513, the CP513-2H, powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 1380 processor.

It is unusual for the second generation of the device to have fewer features than the original generation And the There is still improvement, but that’s the case for this Samsung Chromebook. Samsung has brought back some of the original features and components, making this Samsung Chromebook more expensive than the first generation model. It has a touch screen, tablet capacity, 8 GB RAM and Intel Core processor. The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook also has a much better battery life, and Samsung did it all without losing the allure of its premium predecessor.

There are plenty of convertible Chromebooks out there, with the screen rotating around the back of the keyboard so you can use it as a tablet. But Chrome tablets with removable keyboards are still a rarity. This certainly helps the Chromebook x2 11 stand out, but it also deserves attention for its design and premium features. It offers long battery life and performance that rises (slightly) above the competition. The main downside is that they are expensive on their own. But the year they were available, both HP and Best Buy offered deep discounts, so if you’re interested be sure to wait for one of these deals.

The 317 is basically a portable all-in-one Chrome OS desktop, also known as Chromebase. The large screen makes multitasking a breeze. Stream a YouTube video in the corner while working on a presentation and monitor email or chat – all without overlapping windows. It’s big and heavy compared to all the smaller Chromebooks here, so it’s not a great option if mobility is a priority. But it’s definitely small enough to take around the house, and with more than 10 hours of battery life according to my tests, you can work all day and still have plenty of time to video chat with family, play games, or stream a movie.
