Investing.com – Bitcoin was trading at $27,226.1 by 17:44 (21:44 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Friday, up 10.36% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since November 10, 2022.

The upward move pushed Bitcoin’s market cap to $521.0 billion, or 45.48% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Bitcoin’s market capitalization was $1,275.5 billion.

Bitcoin has been trading in a range from $24,900.1 to $27,227.6 in the previous 24 hours.

Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a surge in value, gaining 35.32%. Bitcoin trading volume in the twenty-four hours to the time of writing is $45.7 billion or 59.68% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has been trading in a range from $19,796.7461 to $27,227.6074 in the past seven days.

At its current price, bitcoin is still down 60.54% from its all-time high of $68,990.63 on November 10, 2021.
