Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray I made two donations to the victims of a Texas mall shooting that occurred last weekend, including $15,000 to a boy who lost his entire family.
Murray — who is from Allen, Texas, where the shooting took place — also donated $10,000 to a public fund for the shooting victims and shared the links with his more than 372,000 Twitter followers.
“This is sickening. Prayers for the victims of the mass shooting in Allen, Texas,” Murray wrote on Sunday. “If there is any way I can help those affected by this tragedy, please let me know.
“When will this stop?”
Among the victims in the outdoor shopping center were three members of a Korean American family: a married couple and one of their children, who was three years old. Another son was injured, said Myung Joon Kim, chief of mission at the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Dallas.
The parents have been identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as Kyu Sung Cho, 37, and Cindy Cho, 35.
Murray played four seasons with the Cardinals and is a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
