Eagles let Nick Siriani win vs. “Emotional” Colts over Frank Reich

After a gutsy 17-16 win over the Colts on Sunday, the Eagles Coach Nick Siriani discussed the importance of leaving Indianapolis with a win, out of respect for his friend and mentor Frank Reich.

Week 11 marks Ciriani’s first game against the Colts since leaving the club to join the Eagles in January 2021 after a three-year stint under Reich. The contest was also Indy’s second since unofficial Reich firing on 7 November After starting the season 3-5-1 and being replaced by franchise legend Jeff Saturday in the A.J Controversial move hours later.

Philadelphia managed to make Siriani a happy homecoming thanks to a Jalen Hurts touchdown late in the game for their first and only lead of the day. During the post-match media session, Siriani, who was noticeably emotional on the sidelines in the final moments, explained why the game was so important to him.
