Erik ten Hag praised his team’s character after their late win over Fulham in the FA Cup.
Manchester United deservedly trailed at Old Trafford in the first half of the game on Sunday but managed to capitalize on Fulham’s total surrender – a surrender that saw Aleksandar Mitrovic, Willian and manager Marco Silva given red cards – to run out comfortably. 3-1 winners.
The victory makes the Red Devils book a place at Wembley Stadium for the second time this season, as the previous visit saw Manchester United win the Carabao Cup thanks to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United.

Talking to ITV After the match, Ten Hag was keen to explain how his team has improved throughout the 2022/23 season despite playing more matches than any other Premier League side:
“We again showed great character. We’ve played the most games of any team in the Premier League, of all the teams in Europe, and we’re fit and fit.
