Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has faced questions about whether Christian Eriksen will play again this season.
The Dane arrived at Old Trafford on a free transfer from Brentford in the summer of 2022 and, after some early struggles, managed to establish himself as a key midfielder alongside Casemiro.
His season was disrupted when he picked up an ankle injury under a poor challenge from Andy Carroll in the FA Cup win against Reading in January.

“I think he will definitely play,” he said. “But I can’t predict now, but I think his progress in rehab is fine. He’s going according to plan, so we’ll definitely see him. But not before [March] international break”.
Ten Hag Then asked if he keeps Eriksen engaged on the set and with team talks, he replied: “Yes, he is. But of course, his main focus is in this moment to get back as quickly as possible because we need all the players.”
