The default and most obvious choice may be everywhere Chocolate chip cookies, but I’m here to highlight an understated selection: the humble peanut butter cake. It’s sweet yet salty, addictively delicious, and prides itself on a salty chew that, without fail, always makes you come back for more. And luckily for you, we’ve done a good job of finding the best Peanut Butter Cake recipe on the internet. Trust me, it was worth it.

Results? Name the best peanut butter cookie recipe the world has to offer. It’s a tough job, I know, but I feel confident in our findings – and the winner really blew my mind.

2. Cookies must balance sweet and savory flavours. We weren’t looking for a peanut butter cookie that was too sweet but we wanted a cookie that connoisseurs could trust that would satisfy their sweet craving.


While there are many types of peanut butter cookies, our team was looking for a chewy peanut butter cookie that was slightly crunchy on the edges, but soft in the middle.

Overall, this is a good peanut butter cookie. When it comes to texture, it leans on the crunchy and crumbly side, like a shortbread from a chewy peanut butter cookie. Some tasters liked the extra texture of chopped peanuts, while others didn’t like those crunchy pieces. The flavor comes with a little sweet, a little salty, and finally peanut butter. Not bad, but the connoisseurs didn’t think so Screamed Peanut butter as much as they want.

Another note: These were the trickiest cookies out there. In addition to browning the butter, the different needs of the mixer, the refrigeration time, and then using a pot of water in the oven, we felt that all the extra steps didn’t necessarily make a nominal difference. It’s a good cookie, not our favourite.

We liked this cookie so much. The texture was the softest, while a little crumbly in the best way. The addictive flavor was out of this world. It’s a little salty and salty thanks to the addition of miso and peanut butter beautifully paired with a miso pancake.

We made one adjustment by not wrapping it in sesame seeds so we could judge the cookie on its own, and overall we liked it. However, in terms of the best peanut butter cookies ratings, they don’t quite meet what comes to mind when you think of peanut butter cake. 10/10 for originality and flavor, but more like a cousin to a peanut butter cake than the classic real deal.

It has a nice crunch on the outside thanks to its sugar roll that pairs beautifully with the soft and chewy middle. The flavor veered a bit on the sweeter side for us, but not by much. The only note was that we wanted more peanut butter flavor from these cookies, but overall, we really liked this one.

If you’ve visited a New York bakery before, you’ve probably already known and loved peanut butter cookies. Not only are these gluten and dairy free, but these cookies use four simple ingredients you likely already have on hand.

The resulting texture was the most chewy of the cookies tested. There’s a little crunch on the edges, and that delicious sticky chew in the middle. While also on the sweeter side, you can definitely taste the peanut butter. Overall, we really liked this cookie, but we could only eat one because it’s on the richer side.

When it came to texture, this cookie was more chewy with a nice crunch on the outside that kept everyone coming back for seconds and thirds. More importantly, in terms of flavor, this feels like peanut butter was found right on top with a nice sweet and savory balance that made for the best peanut butter cake.
