NASCAR’s top stars battle it out over 293 laps of the iconic 1,366-mile asphalt speedway – the original NASCAR superspeedway – in South Carolina in the 13th race of the 2023 Cup Series season. And it was William Byron who went up front, winning his third race of the season.
It was one of the most anticipated races on this year’s schedule as NASCAR is set to honor its 75 greatest drivers during the weekend at Darlington, better known as “The Lady in Black.” Several drivers ran into Sunday Square retro paint schemes As a way to pay homage to the greats of the past, such as Richard Petty and Bobby Allison.
