It’s Mother’s Day, which means two things to me. First, I’ll be treated to the onslaught of homemade cards, kisses, and semi-burnt breakfast foods. And second, I’ll hide in a closet for at least 15 minutes so I can handle a little shopping spree. We all know that moms give the best gifts and every year, I am the lucky recipient of my own gift knack. This year, I know exactly what I’m getting—a new piece (or two) to add to my capsule wardrobe of cool, not-so-boring neutrals.
