If you had any job in the world, what would you choose?

This weekend, my dad and I saw each other Kimberly Akimbo, a Broadway musical about a New Jersey teen who looks like a 72-year-old. The show was funny and touching – Extremely I recommend – and then, when we were driving home, my dad said, “If I could click my fingers and get any job in the world, it would be a conductor.”

During the play, the orchestra sits above the stage, so that we audience members can see the musicians blowing tubas, swapping instruments, and holding hands. And the conductor of the orchestra stood in front, leading them through the score. “Move your arms and WHUMPF! The whole orchestra is playing!” said my dad. “What a happy job.”

For the next few days, I thought about the same question: If you could have any job in the world, money/talent/etc, what would it be?

“A gymnast, but now that that wears off, I’m going to be the real crime podcaster,” a Cobb of Joe reader called Alissa Comment once. Another FGB reader said she would be an “underwater photographer, specializing in sharks!”

Mine? I cut it down to three: ballet dancer; High school math teacher. Or the singer at the tavern Good guys.

what about you? Please share below, these are the big questions!
