Ingenza collaborates with Amplifica to develop new alopecia areata treatments

Industrial biotechnology company Ingenza is pleased to announce its collaboration with clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Amplifica Holdings Group, Inc. To develop an innovative treatment for androgenetic alopecia.

Amplifica has partnered with Ingenza to advance the development of its signaling molecules – which stimulate dormant hair follicle stem cells and lead to active hair regrowth – from proof of concept through toxicology and clinical trials. The project will leverage Ingenza’s microbial strain and mammalian cell line development capabilities and demonstrate the company’s world-leading expertise in engineering biology.

We look forward to partnering with Amplifica and sharing our experience and knowledge to help develop both prime product candidates and alternative versions with enhanced capabilities. Our innovative biomanufacturing techniques and technical capabilities fit perfectly with Amplifica’s expertise in developing novel hair regrowth therapies.”
