iOS 16 It makes its way to smartphones all over the world. If you bought an iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro, your phone already came with it, and if you have an older iPhone, It should be available for download. If you’ve been waiting for bug fixes, iOS 16.0.2 has been released with plenty of them.

This update does not come with any Feature additionsIt even comes packed with bug fixes and security patches. The most important fix in iOS 16.0.2 is to fix iPhone 14 Pro camera issues. In the absence of our coverage, users started reporting online that the camera was physically bobbing in third-party apps like Snapchat and Instagram, resulting in a fuzzy image and ugly noises coming from the camera module. A new iOS update should address this issue on your brand new phone.

The update also fixed other issues that affected not only the iPhone 14 Pro but all other iPhones as well. We have a fix for an annoying copy and paste bug where the OS will ask for permission every time you copy and paste something between apps. The update also fixes an issue where the screen might go completely black during setup and another issue where the screen on some older iPhones (X, XR, 11) becomes unresponsive if serviced.

Here’s the full change, courtesy of Apple:

  • Camera may shake and cause blurry images when shooting with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • The screen may appear completely black during device setup
  • Copying and pasting between apps may cause more permission prompts than expected
  • VoiceOver may not be available after restart
  • Addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 screens after being serviced

The change must appear in Apple’s iOS 16 updates page But it did not appear there as of press time.
