“But those moments are filled with a lot of stress, preparation, travel and everything,” Buck continued. “There’s a lot going on in those moments. I was watching Game 6 with my wife on the couch at our house because I’m friends with Joe and I wanted to see Joe and John.” [Smoltz] And I wanted to see the end of the World Series, and I caught her a few times looking at me out of the corner of her eye like, “Are you okay out there?” This is the first time in 22 consecutive years that the last out of the World Series has not been called up.
“I’m like, I’m fine. Well here. Just watching the game. I watched it. I enjoyed it. Then it’s back to me.” Dahmer. “

And I said let’s give it some time. … Look I’m ready to move on from this part of my life. I did a broadcast Played baseball since I was 19, professionally. I feel like I’ve done everything I can do there. If I ever want to go back and call a few games, maybe. But I don’t have that itch. I love sports. I love watching it. I’m happy Because I did. I’m proud of how and what I did, but I don’t have that desire right now to do the same thing over and over again.”
