Massive GTA 6 leak with over 90 videos and screenshots posted online by Uber hacker

What just happened? What is claimed to be a massive leak of GTA 6 content, including dozens of demo videos and screenshots, was posted by the 18-year-old hacker claiming to be behind the recent Uber hack. Whether it’s legal is still open to debate, but much of it matches up with previous rumors, and the dialogue and storylines seem to be rockstar-like.

Zip file posted to GTAForums About five hours ago (at the time of writing) with the message, “Here are 90 GTA 6 trailers/s. Possibly I will leak more data soon, code and origins for GTA 5 and 6, GTA 6 test builds.”

One would normally expect a link like this to result in some deceptive malware downloading, but no, it’s really a whole lot of purported clips from the game in development.

The video above shows a player-controlled character named Luciaro who steals dinner alongside someone named Jason as the timer counts down to the arrival of the cops. It looks a bit harsh, with some placeholders, clippings, and textures missing, but it he is Build developer test.

Previous rumors claim that GTA 6 will again feature several heroes and will be the first game in the series with a playable female character. We’ve also heard that it will happen in several cities, including Vice City; The VCPD on the police car in the video indicates that we will be returning to the Miami-style location in GTA 6.

Some scenes also add originality to this leak. It features what looks like professional actors and the kind of dialogue one can instantly associate with a GTA game.

Another interesting element in all of this is that the leaker, “teapotuberhacker”, claims to be the same hacker responsible for Huge hack for Uber that happened a few days ago. An 18-year-old with the username “teapots2022” gained access to the ride-sharing giant’s systems simply by tricking an employee into handing over his password via a text message.

The last official news we heard about GTA 6 was that Rockstar wants the game set a standard For “the chain, our industry, and for all entertainment.” The company will reportedly take a more politically correct stance in the sixth major installment and not “beat” it by making fun of marginalized groups. GTA 6 may not arrive until 2024 or even 2025, so there’s a long wait before we find out what the store has in store.
