the mets appointed Darren Roof to commission. The move comes after Roof didn’t do much in spring training to quell concerns that his struggles after his acquisition last year were just a fling.

With Ruf being DFA’d, he’s a fast player Tim Locastro He made the Mets’ 26-man roster for Opening Day, according to multiple reports.

As far as the Mets go on the spot like the usual right side of a DH platoon, Tommy Pham It could make more sense.

Pham cut .273/.338/.446 against left-handers in 2022.
