Oleksandr Zinchenko has praised the abilities of Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus after Arsenal’s quick start to the new Premier League season.

Along with teammate Jesus, who also opted to leave Premier League champions City ArsenalOn the ground, Zinchenko played a key role in the wins over Crystal Palace and Leicester.

Martinelli has also shown what he can do in both games, scoring in every match, while Jesus was in inspirational form against Leicester. The Brazilian scored twice – his first goal was a great finish in the top corner – and he would have scored four or five goals had it not been for good saves from Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward.

Zinchenko was not surprised by what he saw of Jesus, and he also supported the “real diamond” Martinelli to be a big star in the future. The Ukrainian also revealed the nature of his rivalry with Kieran Tierney for the starting berth, having finished off the Scottish left-back position in his first two matches.
