Before arriving on the pitch, Pumas Onam held a press conference to announce the termination of Dani Alves’ contract with the club. Pumas president Leopoldo Silva has firmly stated that his actions are not in line with the team’s values.

“With this decision, the club renews its commitment not to tolerate the actions of any member of our institution, whoever they may be, which are contrary to the spirit and values of the university.”

Club América has not yet won a match in 2023 LigaMX Clausura.

The team drew 2-2 against Puebla on Saturday night at Estadio Azteca, propelling the Eagles to a three-game winless streak. “I don’t see the crisis, it’s something to worry about, yes, with regard to the goals they score against us, but for the rest I’m calm,” he said.

“The beginning we are going through is difficult, but we have to keep working. It is the only solution, we have good things sometimes but we cannot judge them; above all we have to take advantage of everything we have and what is below us cannot be allowed definitively,” Henry added. Martin.
