Real Madrid expects the lineup for the Liverpool match


Real Madrid will be looking to finish the job in their last 16 second leg game against Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos fell two goals down at Anfield but pulled off an impressive comeback, leaving the Merseyside side 5-2 winners to put one foot into the quarter-finals.

Here side coach Carlo Ancelotti can choose to keep his side off the line.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – He was the star of the show in last season’s Champions League final, proving his doubters wrong with nine saves.

Right back: Dani Carvajal – He’s had to face competition from Lucas Vazquez, Militao, Nacho and Alvaro Odriozola at right-back this season but starts more often.

Center back: Eder Militao – He headed home against Espanyol on Saturday as Real came from behind to win 3-1.

Center back: Antonio Rudiger – A strong partnership is being formed with Militao which is ominous in Alaba’s absence.

Left-back: Nacho Fernandez – Eduardo Camavinga looked a bit at fault at the weekend so the reliable Nacho should be sent on at left back in the absence of both Ferland Mendy and David Alaba.
