Cryptocurrency exchange Ripple is listed among the top ten leading unicorn companies in the US according to market capitalization, according to a report published by infographic software company Infogram.

The payment protocol created by Chris Larsen and Brad Garlinghouse was ranked 10th on the list with a market valuation of $15 billion. Furthermore, the published information was collected and combined from private equity firm CB Insights, news platform Finbold, and consumer and market data firm Statista.

The report defines a unicorn as a privately owned startup with a current value of $1 billion or more. Hence, when a company goes public or gets acquired, it is no longer called a unicorn.

According to the data, Elon Musk’s spacecraft maker, Space X, is at the top of the list with a market valuation of $127 billion. After SpaceX, the financial services company Stripe, with its CEO Patrick Collison, is in second place with a market capitalization of $95 billion.

Other names on the list included retailer Instacart, software company Databricks, and video game company Epic Games, with market valuations…
