Something to look forward to: Almost all the initial information about the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti from Nvidia was leaked before its official unveiling. This week, an Nvidia board partner officially listed the GPU (and one of AMD’s new models), and someone tweeted a screenshot.
Reliable leaker MEGAsizeGPU has posted an image of Nvidia’s complete AD104 GPU on Twitter. The chip will go into GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, is expected To launch in early January.
The AD104 appears to be about 295 square mm – half the size of the AD102 powering the RTX 4090 Ti, 4090 and 4080 Ti. Previous reports indicate that the AD104 uses TSMC’s N4 process node, which includes 7,680 CUDA cores, 240 Tensor cores, 60 ray tracing units, 30 billion transistors, and up to 160 ROP.
We already have a pretty good idea of the 4070 Ti’s specs because it was initially a 12GB RTX 4080 before Nvidia “didn’t release” it. This choice has apparently confirmed the prevailing suspicion that it should always have been the 4070.

Whatever the name, the 4070 Ti should perform similarly to the 3090 Ti. Most likely next card Property Full-fat AD104 GPU, 12GB 21Gbps GDDR6X RAM, 192-bit memory bus, 48MB cache, 400W TDP, and up to 504GB/s of bandwidth .
Rumors have it that the 4070 Ti will be launched sometime in the first week of January. No indication has been shown of its price, but it will certainly fall short of the original $899 target for the 12GB 4080 — the initial reason Nvidia renamed it.
Gigabyte became the first manufacturer to officially confirm the existence of the 4070 Ti when this was done registered Several prototypes of the GPU with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) last week. The listings reveal that Gigabyte is considering launching the Aorus, Aorus Elite, Gaming OC, Gaming, Aero OC, Aero, Eagle OC, and Eagle cards. Water-cooled models are not mentioned.
The company too included Variants of AMD Radeon RX 7900 GPUs with EEC. Gigabyte Reference, Gaming OC, and Gaming models confirmed for the 7900 XTX, 7900 XT, and Aorus Elite XTX.
Both new AMD cards will Reaches On December 13 – 7900 XTX for $999 and XT for $899. The XTX features 96 CUs, 24GB of 384-bit GDDR6 RAM, a 2.3GHz game clock, and 355W TDP. The XT returns 84 CUs, a 2GHz gaming clock, 20GB of 320-bit GDDR6 RAM, and a 300W TDP.
