  • A regulator in China has listed the battery capacity of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
  • The largest variants of both models will share the same battery.
  • The new battery is a 5% improvement over the Galaxy Watch 5.

Previous leaks indicated that Galaxy Watch 6 You could see a battery upgrade. Thanks to a new listing from a China-based regulator, we may now know what to expect for battery capacity.

according to SamMobileSamsung Galaxy Watch 6, a regulator in China, has published an online listing for the Galaxy Watch 6. The listing is said to contain battery specifications for both the standard and classic model. According to the outlet, the Standard and Classic will come in two sizes with the larger variants sharing the same size of battery.

Based on the list, here’s what we can expect:

  • Galaxy Watch 6 40mm (SM-R930 / SM-R935): 300 mA battery
  • Galaxy Watch 6 44mm (SM-R940 / SM-R945): 425 mAh battery
  • Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 42mm (SM-R950 / SM-R955): 300 mA battery
  • Galaxy Watch 6 classic 46mm (SM-R960 / SM-R965): 425 mAh battery

This new information is consistent with what we have previously heard from the rumors. However, there is no mention of a Pro device. It’s possible that when previous leaks mentioned the Pro model, they were actually referring to the Classic instead.

If this is in fact the battery capacity of the Standard and Classic editions, it would mean that each device gets around a 5% improvement over the Galaxy Watch 5. However, this would be a downgrade compared to the 590mAh battery found in the Galaxy Watch 5. Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

In addition to the larger battery, it is rumored that the Watch 6 may have some battery life-enhancing features. One such feature could see a MicroLED display installed in the device instead of a SuperAMOLED display.
