A day after news came out that Jamal Adams would do it Undergoing surgery to repair a torn quadriceps tendon On his left leg, the Seahawks star safety team visited team training Friday and shared an honest message with his teammates.
“It was fantastic,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters. Greg Bell Tacoma news. “He had the opportunity to speak to the entire crew. … He left it and told the players what he was thinking and how grateful he was for the win.”
When asked if Adams will actually miss the remainder of the 2022 season, Carroll wasn’t sure.
“I don’t know how far from it,” Carol He said. “He’ll be working here in a couple of days, and then we’ll know.”
Three times Pro Bowler hit him Quadruple in the second quarter of Monday’s match. Pressing on Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, Adams immediately entered the team’s medical tent after the play and was later taken off the field.
Instead of leaving the field after injury, Carroll said Adams climbed into the team box and watched the remainder of the game and was “crazy about it.”
Adams scored three single tackles, one hit to a quarterback and one pass deflection in Monday’s game. The 26-year-old joined Seattle in 2020. A year later, Adams signed a four-year, $70 million extension to become the league’s top security guard.
After setting a season record for defensive back sacks (9.5) in his first season, Adams was limited to no sacks in 12 games last season.
