One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is eating leftovers the next day. I almost enjoy a good turkey sandwich As far as Ross, but I like to mix it up a bit and try other ways to use up leftovers. In fact, I was doing it earlier this week (yes, I was planning Thanksgiving leftovers) when I got so annoyed with all the pop-up ads and scrolling on the various recipe sites. That’s when I applied one of my favorite search tips, search by file type.
to the end of my search term turkey pie I added File type: pdf. I did this in order to only find links to PDFs with recipes for turkey shepherd’s pie. No annoying popups and animated ads on PDFs to prevent recipe reading.
Another trick I often use when searching for recipes online is to use the OneNote web snippet to save articles instead of just bookmarking links. The web cutter will allow you to view the article without having to actually go back to the original web page.
Each of these tips can be used to find and read Thanksgiving leftover recipes whenever you search online. I used the filetype lookup method earlier this fall to Help someone identify a piece of old archery equipment And I used it a week ago just to find a copy of the owner’s manual for the portable generator in my garage.
