There is almost no separation in Super Bowl prospects between the NFL’s final four teams

Usually when the NFL gets to the conference championship round, there are one or two teams that are clearly better than the rest, or one team that probably doesn’t belong.

This is not postseason. All four teams have a good chance of winning it all, and this is shown by one of the smallest gaps from Super Bowl favorite to fourth best odds you’ll see.

Here are BetMGM’s updated Super Bowl odds:

Kansas City Chiefs +250

Cincinnati Bengals +260

Philadelphia Eagles +270

San Francisco 49ers +280

It may be a while before you see one of the best players in the Super Bowl at +250 with only two games left, or the team with the fourth best odds at +280.

It is also interesting that both AFC teams occupy the first and second places. This likely means that whoever wins the AFC title will also be favored in Super Bowl LVII, though a major injury in the AFC title game or a stellar performance in the NFC title game could change that.

Both conference championship games have a small spread. Chiefs opened as a favorite 1.5 points over Bengals. Eagles opened 1.5 points favourite over 49ers. Philadelphia quickly turned into a 2.5-point favorite after posting the streak, though that could narrow as the week went on.

It’s rare that we get to this stage in any season, no matter the sport, and none of the four remaining teams are big favorites or losers. We only have three matches left in the NFL, and based on the odds, every remaining team has the same chance of winning the Lombardy Cup.
