Cowboys in Dallas Already missing the start of quarterback Dak Prescottwill be without safety Jayron Kearse (knee), defensive end Tarell Basham (quadruple) and goalkeeper Connor McGovern (ankle) during the Week 2 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Receiver Michael Gallup, who is recovering from a ruptured ACL, did not play in the season opener and remained limited in Dallas’ training report. Many expect Gallup to need at least an extra week before returning to work.

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said Gallup on Wednesday participated in a 7-on-7 drill:

Kelsey Conway of The Enquirer wrote on Wednesday that if there was ever a good time for Joe Burrow to get sales out of the way, it was last week, because Cowboys are even better at taking the ball away.
