Nailwal also said that the capital he invests is meant to be used by “senior builders” to “give up their comfortable jobs or to resolve matters in their lives” that are preventing them from “achieving their true potential”.

β€œIn addition to capital, recipients of the Fellowship will receive support from Symbolic Capital in the form of weekly mentorship, a suite of tools for connecting with top founders & investors, and the ability to raise funding if a company is started as a result of the Fellowship.”

The Polygon co-founder also spoke about his personal struggles. He said he came from a poor family and had a difficult upbringing.

β€œI am the son of a poor day-to-day worker from Jamna-Paar, Delhi who migrated from a peasant family in search of livelihood. My early life was not easy, I spent the beginning of my career just working to pay bills, unable to pursue my real dreams of starting my own company.”
